Begginer

Class 1:
Introduction to the group, clarification of expectations.
Building confidence and ease of expression.

Class 2:
Relaxation as a fundamental tool.
Body and spatial awareness.

Class 3:
Introduction to voice work.
Elements and construction of the voice.
Introduction to the Linklater technique.

Class 4:
Continuation of voice training.
Flexibility and diversity in vocal work.
Introduction to the Viewpoints methodology.

Class 5:
Tools for realistic acting.
Listening and responding to impulses.
Introduction to the Meisner technique.

Class 6:
Text analysis:
Learning to interpret and understand dramatic texts by identifying themes, characters, conflicts, and subtext.

Class 7:
Improvisation tools.
Beginning monologue construction.
Character Creation:
Exploring techniques to build complex and believable characters, from research to embodiment.

Class 8:
In-class monologue performance and presentation.

Advanced

Class 1:

Acting Techniques
Exploration of methods such as Stanislavski’s System, Method Acting, and other approaches to character building and realistic performance.

Class 2:

Body Expression
Developing body awareness and control
as an expressive tool, including movement, posture, and gesture techniques.

Class 3:

Vocalization and Diction
Training the voice for projection, clarity, and modulation, with emphasis on accurate pronunciation.

Class 4:

Scene Work
Staging theatrical scenes, including direction, interpretation, and coordination with fellow actors.

Class 5:

Stage Awareness
Developing the ability to interact with the stage, audience, and other actors, creating an effective presence on stage.

Class 6:

Camera Preparation
Exploring acting techniques for film and television, including working with framing, continuity, and adapting to various audiovisual formats.

Class 7:

Scene Staging
Preparing one or more scenes for the final project, culminating in the filming of a short film.

Class 8:

Final Exam
Presentation of the short film before an audience.
